It's a refurbished Asus eeePC 1000HEB. It has room for an upgrade of memory from 1gb to 2gb and I can upgrade the HD to whatever size I would like. It has a webcam and it fits my budget. And unlike most netbooks it has 6 battery cells.

I know asus as being a very trustable brand. I have built several computers using there motherboards and they have stayed working for a long time. The only technical difference between the HE and HA other than the enclosure is that the webcam on the HE is 1.3MP and on the HA its .3MP. I've been following the netbook scene since the first eeepc came out. Thanks for your answers!
In my personal opinion, I think you will be pleased with it. Asus pretty much invented the netbook category, and have remained leaders in its continued development. Not to mention, Asus has had the best reliability record of major laptop manufacturers for the last couple of years.

The refurbed is the same price as the 1000HEB (well, 10 bucks more).
But the chicklet style keyboard of the 1000HE is very cool. Either would be a fine choice.
Is the 3 month warranty on a refurb of concern to you?
