What to think about when looking for used cheap laptops.

My goal is to create a source for useful information, and buying tips to use when you are searching for cheap laptops.  The number of cheap laptops on the market is huge and there are a number of things to consider when buying that second machine, or maybe it's your first foray into mobile computing.  Whatever your situation, I am going to build a place on the Internet where you can feel at home, and pick up the information you need.
